Mrs. Epley lives in the Oak Hill community where she grew up. She is married and has two children in the public school system. She enjoys gardening and travel with her family. She is an active member at El Bethel Baptist Church where she serves on various committees.

Mrs. Epley has served within Burke County Public Schools for the past twenty three years. She earned her undergraduate degree from Lenoir-Rhyne College and a master’s in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University.

She taught first and third grade at Chesterfield Elementary before spending time as an assistant principal at Table Rock Middle and Walter Johnson Middle School. She has served as principal at Chesterfield Elementary and North Liberty School. She is currently serving as principal at Oak Hill Elementary School.

It is her hope to leave a positive, lasting impression not only on the students she serves but parents and teachers as well. She empowers students to believe in themselves and tap into their natural gifts and abilities.
